Process Engineer - WetEtch
For the Wafer Production Engineering team in the Thinfilm & WetEtch area, we are looking for a reliable and dedicated personality as a Process Engineer – WetEtch.
Your tasks
- Define, develop, and implement manufacturing processes for new or modified products and capabilities
- Maintain and continuously improve process stability, capability, yield, and throughput
- Act as technical authority for assigned processes and support structured problem solving (e.g. 8D, FMEA, root cause analysis)
- Transfer new or modified processes into production and ensure proper documentation and standardization
- Provide 2nd‑level technical support for process- and equipment‑related issues and collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance
Your Profile
- M.Sc. in materials science, microtechnology, physics, chemistry, or a comparable field
- Several years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, e.g. photolithography, dry etching, PVD/sputtering, wet chemistry, dicing or pick & place
- Strong analytical skills with experience in statistical methods and process data analysis
- Structured, independent, and quality‑oriented working style with a hands‑on mentality
- Good German and English skills and strong communication abilities
